Apply for SAMHSA’s 2019 Criminal Justice Learning Collaboratives
The deadline to apply for all five topics is Tuesday, January 22, 2019
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) GAINS Center for Behavioral Health and Justice Transformation is accepting applications for five Criminal Justice Learning Collaboratives. Each collaborative will bring together six local teams for an intensive learning, strategic planning and implementation process to address local issues and needs within a given topic area. The collaboratives will engage subject-matter experts and facilitate peer-to-peer learning and information-sharing among teams.
Selected applicants will participate in a 1.5-2 day virtual event on the respective topic. Following the virtual event, each participating community will receive follow-up technical assistance via monthly collaborative calls and a one-day site visit by subject-matter experts to facilitate continued work toward achieving the implementation goals identified in the action plan developed during the event.
